FCIA Recognition of Excellence Nominations - 2017
The Fine Chocolate Industry Association (FCIA) is proud to host the Recognition of Excellence awards every other year to recognize outstanding industry professionals and companies for their significant contributions to the fine chocolate segment of the industry.
This year, the ceremonies will be held at the FCIA Elevate Chocolate - Summer 2017 in New York on June 24, 2017. THE DEADLINE TO MAKE A NOMINATION IS MARCH 31, 2017.
We invite you to nominate a person or company that has made a significant contribution in one of these categories:
• Outstanding Contribution by a Fine Chocolatier
• Innovation in Fine Chocolate Products
• Outstanding Service to the Industry
• Outstanding Contribution by a Fine Chocolate Maker or Manufacturer
• Lifetime Achievement
RoE awards reflect real value because these awards are determined by industry peers and recognize SIGNIFICANT achievement and contributions. We do not issue awards as platitudes. Therefore, there may not be a winner for each award category. And, there may be more than one winner per category.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO MAKE A NOMINATION?
If you are a professional in the fine chocolate industry, you are eligible to nominate someone for the RoE Award. FCIA membership is not required to make a nomination.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE NOMINATED?
We are looking for individuals or companies who have made a SIGNIFICANT contribution in one of the categories listed above - someone who has moved the industry forward or made a mark to benefit the industry. Nominees/winners do not have to be FCIA members. To avoid this appearing a self-serving activity, we ask that you not nominate yourself, a partner or someone from your own company.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE FOR WINNERS?
Only FCIA members may vote. If you are not a member, we invite you to consider joining FCIA to support the fine chocolate industry.
We hope the FCIA Recognition of Excellence Awards will encourage fine chocolate professionals world-wide to explore their passion and continue to innovate, set trends, and raise the overall quality of our industry.
EXAMPLES OF PAST WINNERS:

Before you submit a nomination, please keep this in mind--the FCIA Recognition of Excellence award is NOT about who makes great products. The Award is recognition of a SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION that has helped shaped the Fine Chocolate Industry. Please note - past RoE winners are not eligible to be nominated or to win an award.
